If you have the latest version of Microsoft's Office suite - Office 2000 - there's a 'service release' that you can download to fix some problems that have been reported with the programs.
Unfortunately, many users have reported problems installing the update, known as SR-1. Reported problems include programs closing themselves down after a few seconds, the Outlook Express mail program no longer working, and some features in Internet Explorer breaking.
