The Gadwin Print Screen utility gives far more control over screenshots than is possible with Windows on its own.
Screen shots are shown in a preview window and can then be sent to a variety of destinations including the Windows clipboard, printer or a file. The location of these files and the basic name can be set, along with a program to open them.
It can use the Windows PrtScrn button or a new hot key of your choosing. It can pause before taking the screen shot in order to give time to change programs and either select the whole screen or just the active window. The mouse cursor is also captured, something absent with the Windows alternative.
This is an excellent free utility for anyone wanting to capture a screen shot.
