In the first part of this
workshop on 3D drawing we created simple freehand drawings that incorporated
unusual shapes, different textures and realistic shadows.
Now in part 2, we’re going to explore some of Sketchup’s precision measuring
tools, and explain how to create shapes with accurate dimensions that can be
used to build something in the real world.
We’ll also look at some of Sketchup’s quick editing features for grouping
objects so as to make it easier to move and copy them, as well as change the
scale of the entire drawing with a couple of mouse clicks.
