Auralog has added Arabic to its language-learning software.

Tell Me More Arabic is geared towards learning Modern Standard Arabic and introduces different Arabic dialects, including Moroccan, Algerian and Egyptian.

The software uses two learning modes: the Free-to-Roam Mode, which gives learners the option to create their own lessons, and the Guided Mode which offers a predefined lesson plan, proposing activities with increasing levels of difficulty.

It uses a Babel Technology engine which allows learners to interact by speaking with their computer. The voice recognition technology enables students to practice and evaluate their pronunciation.

Tell Me More Arabic is divided into four levels, and includes 800 hours of learning and 5,000 exercises. It comes as one complete set, consisting of the Complete Beginner, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, plus it additionally includes a Business level. It costs £220.
