Sony has launched two MP3 players with a battery life of up to 30 hours each.

The Sony Video Walkman NW-A800 and MP3 Walkman NW-E010 series can play music for up to 30 hours.

The NW-E010 series also has a quick charge function with three minutes charge giving three hours of music playback. It also has an easy to use menu and built in FM tuner and comes in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities.

The NW-A800, which comes with 2, 4 or 8GB of memory, also supports Mpeg 4 video playback, giving up to eight hours continous play if used in this mode.

Because the device supports Jpeg files, users can also display photos through a slideshow feature. The NW-A800 is less than 1cm wide and has a 2" LCD.

Both MP3 players are available in black and pink, the NW-A800 will be available from April and the NW-E010 from May 2007 with prices to be announced nearer the sale dates.
