From time to time Microsoft releases free programs that add useful features to Windows XP, and the USB Flash Drive Manager is one of them.
Though not a conventional backup program – it doesn’t include timed backups or incremental backups (where only the altered information is backed up) but it is a good way to manage the contents of different USB memory keys and keep track of files and folders as they get moved between computers.
It’s also an excellent way to keep personal information such as addresses and bookmarks with you or to move favourite music tracks around on a single USB disk. And as the program is free it’s worth investigating.
