Google has launched its notebook tool in British English.

Google Notebook is a personal browser tool which allows users to store content obtained from the internet by giving them the opportunity to clip specific sections of web pages, images and URLs.

This content can then be organised into sections by creating multiple notebooks for different subjects or by dividing a single notebook into several sections. Content is rearranged by dragging-and-dropping it from one section or notebook to another.

Users can then revisit their notes to add comments to any links and search their notebook to find their way back to sites that haven't yet been fully explored.

In addition users can also search for all the notebooks that have been published on the web and invite people to collaborate on theirs by making it a public webpage.
