Good fun for Bratz fans but rather short

The idea of Bratz Rock Angelz is that the player gets to live the life of a ‘rock angel’, helping the Bratz, Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin, to launch a fashion magazine.

Along the way, the computer-rendered dolls travel the globe, searching for scoops. The globe apparently comprises London and Bratz Town.

The enterprise proceeds through a handful of mini-games, each of which has a different style. To begin, the player must help the girls mix some celebratory smoothies. This is done by clicking on fruits as they whiz by on a Lazy Susan it’s pretty simple stuff, at least to begin with. Later, the Bratz girls, sorry, girlz will get to go adventuring, taking on the evil Tweevil twins and eventually designing and laying out their own magazine.

Bratz is colourful stuff and the game elements are well produced throughout. It lacks longevity but then, the target audience of a title like this will likely have short attention spans.
