Internet service provider Tiscali is extending its TV services across the country.

It has currently only been available to residents in London and Stevenage but from October, people in towns including Birmingham, Liverpool, Warrington and Milton Keynes will be able to get the service.

Tiscali TV forms part of a “triple-play” package comprising of landline telephone service, broadband and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) services.

As part of the expansion, Tiscali will also be introducing the Tiscali TV Variety Pack, that gives users a choice of 50 digital channels including all BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel Five broadcasts as well as Sky Channels 1,2,3, Sky News and Sky Sports News. As part of the £19.99 package users get 2Mb broadband and telephone with free weekend calls to UK landlines.

With this package users can also watch free replays from the BBC and Channel 4 as well as access to over 1000 on demand, pay per view movies which cost from £1.99 for older films to £3.49 for the latest releases

For £24.99 a month customers will receive the same TV package, free weekend calls to UK landlines and 10 top international countries, including the US and Canada, plus an up to 8Mb broadband connection.

Existing Tiscali broadband customers can upgrade and get the set-top box, wireless router and installation free. New customers will also receive a set-top box and router free, but will incur a £30 installation charge. New customers will also receive the £6 per month Entertainment Extra Mix, which consists of 65 channels such as Hallmark, Eurosport and National Geographic, free for two months.

None of the deals currently extend to Tiscali's dial-up customers.
