PC World is going green with delivery vehicles that will use 10 per cent less fuel and have more storage capacity.

The “Roadmouse” lorries are shaped like an enormous computer mouse and run on biodiesel.

PC World claims that their aerodynamic shape makes them more efficient and will help it reduce CO2 emissions by 20 per cent compared to its previous vehicles.

The retailer's entire 75-strong fleet will be converted in early 2008. Keith Jones, managing director of PC World, said: “I‘m very pleased that we’re able to use the state-of-the-art Roadmouse to deliver stock to our stores.

"The aerodynamic shape is much more efficient and, being mouse-shaped, it is also a great reminder of the technology that we provide.”
