When in first launched, Gmail or Google Mail as it is known in the UK was
something of a revolution boasting over 2GB of storage space, which has
gradually increased over time.
Today, the average Google Mail inbox has nearly 5GB of storage. If you’re not
using all this for email and use the
Firefox web
browser, then you might be interested in a little tool called Gspace.
This converts unused Google Mail inbox space into an online-storage location
that can be accessed from anywhere, a bit like an online hard disk.
The add-on can be used to copy any type of document to this storage space and
built-in tools make it possible to play music files and view uploaded photos
without the need to download them.
