There are times when it helps to have a web browser maximised to view as much of a site as possible, especially when using a small notebook such as the Asus Eee PC. Firefox has a full-screen mode.
Firefox has a full-screen mode built in. Simply press F11 and it takes over the entire screen so there is no space wasted by the Windows Taskbar. Fullerscreen takes this one step further and also hides the Firefox toolbars to give web pages even more space.
The Firefox toolbars are not gone forever. They reappear if the cursor is moved to the top or bottom of the screen.
There are plenty of ways to customise Fullerscreen, including the delay before the toolbars disappear again and how close to the edge of the screen the cursor must be before the toolbars are shown.
