SPB Full Screen Keyboard

Emulate a full keyboard on a PocketPC

Tim Smith, Computeract!ve 08 Jul 2005

Display a full-screen-sized keyboard on your PocketPC, which is big enough to type with your fingers rather than with the stylus.
PocketPCs are extremely useful, giving you quite a lot of the power of a full PC in the palm of a hand. But typing can be a real pain, because of the need to use a stylus to enter text. The handwriting-recognition is getting better, but can be hard to get the hang of, and entering text on the small on-screen keyboard is very fiddly.
SPB's answer is to make the whole screen display a keyboard. Because the screen on a PocketPC is touch-sensitive, you can then use this to type with – it's not quite the size of a proper desktop keyboard, but it certainly makes typing easier.
