Fair trade - web links

All the links from our feature on shopping at computer fairs.

Ben Tudor, Computeract!ve 16 Feb 2006

To save you the time, here are all the links to sites we used in the article on shopping at computer fairs, published in issue 210 of Computeractive.

We set out to buy the parts needed for a Personal Video Recorder with a budget of only £100, but also looked at the benefits of buying older software in the form of Paint Shop Pro X and its older (and now heavily discounted) sister, Paint Shop Pro 8.

We also talked to John Calder, of mail order firm Not Just Ink and Chris Whiteman, organiser of British Computer Fairs. At one fair, we also found Sony Playstation Portables for sale at less than the price offered by Argos.

And finally, we also listed a number of computer fair organisers. They're listed below, complete with information on the areas they cover.
