EarthSim Screensaver
Explore the Earth and Moon from space
Earthsim is an Earth viewer that can be used as an education tool and as a screensaver.
The screensaver displays a view of the Earth from space with the correct lighting for the time of day.
More exciting than the screensaver are the documentaries that can be watched with EarthSim. Only one is supplied with this free download, but more can be obtained by subscribing to Earthsim TV.
The other major limitation of this free download of Earthsim is that the zoom is limited.
System Requirements:
- Windows 2000/XP
- Pentium 1GHz or higher
- 256MB RAM
- 64MB Graphics Card
- DirectX 8.0 - if DirectX 8.0 or greater is not found on your machine, the Earthsim browser will ask permission to install the latest version for you.
- .NET 1.1 - if .NET 1.1 is not found on your machine, the Earthsim browser will ask permission to install the latest version for you.
- Broadband Internet Connection - as Earthsim is an online experience you must be constantly connected to the Internet in order to watch.
- 2-Button Mouse
- Display 1280 x 1024 or higher
