EasyBCD 1.7.1

Adjust the Vista boot process

Tim Smith, Computeract!ve 13 Dec 2007

One aspect of Windows that has not changed with Windows Vista is a rather narrow view of the world where dual booting is concerned.

Linux may be able to recognise other operating systems but Windows is less flexible. EasyBCD is a utility for changing the boot menu in Vista to include other operating systems, including Windows XP.

One use for this software is for installing Windows XP on a computer with Windows Vista. EasyBCD can be used to add Windows XP to the Vista boot menu.

It supports other operating systems and so can be used to dual boot Vista with Linux as well.
