Berlin's annual IFA consumer electronics show is one of the world's biggest and we've been scouring the show floor for the latest technology and gadgets. Despite the sheer vastness of stuff throbbing for our attention, several clear themes emerged from this year's Teutonic technology trade fair.
Focus on Imaging is one of Britain's biggest photography shows, occupying a substanial chunk of the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. The show allows members of the public to try out some of the latest imaging kit.
We've picked out the cameras and printers on show. Computeractive publisher Marc Hartog presented the awards and posed for some photos, which you can see below.
One of the reasons we love video chat is that it makes calls to relatives all over the world cheap and easy. I'm lucky in living close to my immediate family so it's not something I've felt the need to try. Last Saturday I was playing Club Penguin with the children and my parents appeared on Skype, so I thought why not give it a go? The result, a lot of fun, especially when we started playing with the various effects available on the computers.
