The Digital Switchover hits the Computeractive inbox

al-with-switch

It was bound to happen. This morning I replied to an email from someone wondering why their analogue television has stopped working. I won't know whether they live in an area where the analogue signal is switched off until they get back to me but I suspect that this won't be the last email of its kind.

In fairness, I'm not sure what more the Digital Switchover campaign could have done but getting a message like this out to the public is always difficult. If you want more information, there is plenty on the Digital UK website. They also have a call centre that can be reached on 08456 50 50 50.

You can help as well by keeping an ear open for friends complaining about televisions not working and checking if they are affected. I for one am very pleased that my Grandmother has been with Sky for many years and so isn't affected. Do share any stories below.
