Cebit conference centre

In our third and final round-up from Hannover's Cebit 2011 trade show you can find out more about the 3D displays that were on show.

More importantly, there's the crucial matter of the Cebit freebie sweet round-up. At its press conference on Monday Microsoft gave us a small packet of what turned out to be 'cloud' sweets to go with the theme of its main presentation. There were two rather pleasant cloud-shaped marshmallows in there.

A packet of Turkish sweets from a welcome pack turned out to be some nice chocolate-covered almonds and the groan-inducing Cebit 'micro-chips' were savoury potato snacks.
