At the Gadget Show Live we checked out a small car that's packed with technology to limit fuel use
We've seen quite a few technology-packed cars of late, but often this involves clever computer kit designed primarily for entertainment or connecting up other gadgets so they can be used while you drive.
At the Gadget Show Live, though, we caught up with Volkswagen's Polo BlueMotion - a car packed with technology designed simply to cut your fuel use.
It uses special tires, redesigned aerodynamics, automatic engine stop/start and even regenerative braking to preserve fuel. The Polo BlueMotion is on sale now for £14,800.
You'll find a complete list of our reports on our Gadget Show Live blog.
