We spoke to Guglielmo Carraro at the Gadget Show live 2011
Western Digital was at the Gadget Show Live to show off its VelociRaptor and Caviar Black performance hard disks. In the video below, produced in association with Western Digital, we spoke to professional gamer Guglielmo Carraro about the products.
The VelociRaptor range, designed for speed and gaming, uses disks that spin at 10,000RPM rather than the more usual 5,400 or 7,200RPM. The Caviar Black range is designed for other high performance computers, has a huge 64MB of cache memory for high-speed access and is available with up to 600GB of storage in a single disk.
Both are available now.
You'll find a complete list of our reports on our Gadget Show Live blog.
