Horde of zombie ghouls set to raise money for St Mungo's
The streets of central London will be awash with fake blood on Saturday 8 October as volunteers dressed as undead flesh eaters shuffle from Marble Arch to Leicester Square.
Far from signalling the descent of humanity into the abyss, London's zombies will be raising money for the charity St Mungo's.
More than 50 cities around the world are holding zombie-themed event as part of World Zombie Day, a global fund-raising event that aims to help those affected by hunger and homelessness.
The walk begins at 1pm and will conclude in the small hours of Sunday morning, and is part of a global fund-raising event. The route map for the sponsored walk and pub crawl was drawn by London artist and fashion blogger Badaude.
