Lots of online storage for Microsoft Skydrive

A free online bonus if you've been with the service since before April 22

skydrive-setup

We all love free online storage and there's plenty of offer from Microsoft SkyDrive if you were signed up before April 22. Eligible users (and thankfully I was one of them) can upgrade their accounts to a whopping 25GB for no cost.

Granted, it's unlikely to supplant Dropbox as I need Linux support, but SkyDrive is a handy way of backing up photos directly from Windows Live Photo Gallery.

According to the offical announcement, this is a time limited offer but there's no mention of when it finishes so there's no reason to delay. Sign in and click on the option to Manage your storage. I was presented with a button to upgrade. It was that simple.

Thankyou

That's generous offer from Skydrive. I have done mine. Thanks for the heads up Appreciated :)
