There is no apparent reason for the failure of Uniblue's software that we can see, other than a possible conflict with another, more recent download or PC upgrade
I have a problem with Uniblue’s Registry Booster, System Tweaker and Power Suite, which I bought a month ago. I downloaded the software but the programs worked for less than a fortnight before they all failed with the message 'Uniblue Product has encountered a problem and needs to close'.
I am then requested to send an error message report, which I have always done. But I have never received any response from Uniblue. I tried re-downloading from my original orders, but with the same results.
John Edward Kay
It is difficult to know what is causing the problem in this case because if the software hadn’t downloaded successfully, the programs wouldn’t have worked for two weeks initially.
This also means that there doesn’t seem to have been a compatibility problem with other software unless Mr Kay upgraded existing software on his PC or downloaded additional software during this time and this has caused problems.
It is wise to remember that these notices to send error reports back to a software firm, while useful for the company, are of no use to the consumer. People will not receive feedback from these reports because they are just used to gauge error rates – what the problems are and where they may be present.
We have emailed Mr Kay and asked him if he has attempted to contact Uniblue customer services or technical support directly about this issue.
We have also asked whether he has downloaded any other software that might possibly have caused a software conflict.
We have contacted Uniblue and asked it to get in touch with us and also to get hold of Mr Kay to see if it can resolve this issue and find out what may be causing the failure of the software.
As yet we have not heard back from the company, so we will update you as soon as we do.

uniblue is fake
uniblue is fake software, it gets onto your system claiming you have lots of problems, and if you buy the software it will be fixed. Rule one to spot a scam: If the product includes the words 'registry cleaner' it is a scam.

BIG BLUE
Like Mr. Kay I installed Uniblues SpeedUpPC ??? and on installing the problems began. Error messages, lost CD/DVD driver. I contacted Uniblue and eventually aked when it was suggested I purchase their full system... for which I asked for a discount on having already paid for one item in the series, got a response that, in short if I followed their email I would get a refund inside 7 working days. All emails to them since have been ignored, no refund to PayPal and a computer that worked perfectly before is now next to useless.
