Use Doppler to stay up to date with podcasts
Listening to podcasts is very simple but if you prefer to use Windows Media Player Doppler Radio is worth a close look.
It can work with any media player installed on the computer. It launches the media player automatically to listen to a podcast.
Adding podcasts is simple. All you need is the address of the podcast and Doppler will automatically fill in the name. It is possible to drag and drop the address into Doppler for even easier addition of feeds.
Doppler searches to updates to feeds in the background. When new podcasts become available an alert appears onscreen.
The space allowed for each podcast can be limited, either to a specific size on the hard disk or by the number or age of podcasts already downloaded from that feed.
This software does require the .NET Framework software from Microsoft installed first.
