Update Notifier

Find out when software needs updating

screenshot-of-update-notifier

Don't let out-of-date software put your computer at risk

We are used to Windows Update keeping an eye on new updates, but what about other software? Update Notifier scans the software on the computer and reports if any new versions are available.

You can install Update Notifier like you would an ordinary program or just run it. The latter is ideal for putting on a USB memory key. This makes it a useful utility for checking computers if you are ever called to fix problems. It can also be set to run when Windows starts so you won't miss any updates.

Useful Freeware

I was surprised what items needed updating, particularly the Cyberlink ones which were well out of date. It's helpful to run this alongside another freeware offerng, Drive Max Agent.
