Find out what is using hard disk space
See folders as part of a pie chart
Knowing that a hard disk is nearly full is one thing, but working out where all the space has gone is not so easy.
Utilities such as Folder Size can help but still leave most of the work in your hands. Xinorbis can scan hard disks and USB keys and then report on where the space has been used.
The results of the scan are displayed as a pie chart with different sections representing documents or system files.
The reports can also be saved in a variety of different formats including HTML, text, CSV or XML. Saved reports can be used for comparisons in future.
Xinorbis can be installed onto a USB key so it can be used on lots of different computers without having to be installed on each one.
Xinorbix 5 includes a "Time" to scan history and improved folder exclusion options. There are also several bug fixes.

Not Impressed
Downloaded this, installed on USB Key, and it locked up every time scanning "C". Had to use Task Manager to cancel it. The software may be free but it would be nice if it'd been a bit more friendly.

Disappointed
The programme freezes when scanning C: drive and then becomes non responsive. An interesting looking download that doesn't work.

Very Slow and no Uninstall
It took so long to analyse the C drive that i gave up as it just about brought the computer to a standstill. When I wanted to uninstall the program there was no uninstall option available. The program was not listed in Control Panel. Very disappointing
