Ogg Codecs for Windows

Listen to music in the Ogg Vorbis format

large

Ogg Vorbis is a popular music format in open source circles and is also used on many online radio startions.

Unfortunately Windows Media cannot play files in this format.

If Windows Media Player is your normal media player it is inconvenient to have to install another player just for this one format.

Thankfully this download contains all the files needed to let Windows Media Player access this kind of music. In fact it works with any media player that uses DirectShow.

Once installed it provides the ability to play Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Speex, Ogg Theora, Ogg FLAC and native FLAC files.

It is very important to uninstall any previous versions of this software before installing the latest version.
