Start programs without searching through the Start Menu
Quickly find software and documents with Find and Run Robot
It doesn't take long for the Start Menu to contain so many sub menus that it becomes hard to find anything. Find and Run Robot is a good solution as it not only finds programs as you type but also documents on the computer.
Installation is simple and Find and Run Robot is launched with the Pause/Break key. It's not the most conveniently placed key but one that is rarely used so it won't disrupt anything else.
As you type the name of the program or document you want Find and Run Robot starts showing suggestions, all of which have a score rating to indicate how likely a match it is. It also shows the location of the file or program.
There are plenty of options that can be changed, including the appearance of the utility, and there are plenty of skins available. The Options window also has an advanced mode for in-depth tweaking.
Find and Replace Robot can also be set to check for updates automatically.
