Launchy for Linux

Quickly find programs in Linux

screenshot-of-launchy

Starting programs is easy with Launchy

Launchy is a clever replacement for program menus that searches for the program you want as you type the name.

We already think very highly of the Windows version and now there is a version for Linux. In some respects it is even more useful for Linux, especially for beginners who may have difficulty finding programs in unfamilar menus.

As well as launching programs, Launchy can also be used as a calculator that will accept brackets.
