Keep track of where quotes come from
Never lose an important web link with Quotepad
The web is a great place to research all manner of topics, but it can be frustrating keeping a record of where a particular quote came from. Quotepad is a simple, but very useful utility.
Select some text in a web browser and press the special shortcut, Ctrl, Shift and Q. The text will be saved to Quotepad along with the address of the web page it came from.
Notes can be given a subject to help keep them organised.
The program can be set to start when Windows does, the option is in the setup wizard so it is easy to disable if you want. There is also an option to install in a portable mode for a USB memory key. This is very useful if you use different computers, maybe researching at home as well as school or university.
Version 2.2 has an improved Quick Filter and several bugs were fixed.
