Add clipart, templates and sample documents to Openoffice.org
The Oxygenoffice extensions help get the most from Openoffice.org
Openoffice.org is an excellent office suite, especially given the lack of a price tag, but there are areas where it suffers. One of these is the limited collection of templates.
Oxygenoffice Professional is a version of Openoffice.org that comes with a larger collection of templates, as well as fonts and clipart. Rather than force you to uninstall Openoffice and install a different program, the extras have been made available as extensions for Openoffice.
The download link above is for one of the template packs. Rather than put all of the different parts of Oxygenoffice in one extension, they are available separately. More information about the others, including a download link, can be found here.
The internet browser should prompt to open the extensions with Openoffice. Otherwise save them to the desktop and start Openoffice. Click on the Tools menu and then select Extension Manager. Click on the Add button and left-click on the downloaded file. Click on Open and it will be installed in Openoffice.
