Create music notation and tablature for guitar and other instruments

Create musical notation on your computer

Guitarists don't have to learn music as they can use a form of notation called tablature that shows which fret needs to be used for a note. This makes it far more accessible for beginners.

Guitar Pro 5 can be used for writing both musical notation and tablature and converting between the two.

It can play back the music to check for any mistakes, either using MIDI or a better quality audio.

Utilities for guitarists include a digital tuner and metronome. A chord diagram generator is useful for finding out the fingerings for chords and these can be added to the musical score.

Lead guitarists will also appreciate the scales tool that will explain the more complicated scales including blues and pentatonic.
