Keep files online for easy access
Always have access to your files with Diino
Internet access may be getting more widespread but this is still frustrating when important documents are left on a single computer. Diino offers a safe place to store files online so they can be accessed when they are needed.
This new version of the software needed to access the files keeps the strong encryption of the previous edition to prevent unauthorised access. There are no traces of the files left on the host computers so it can be used on public computers safely.
Files can be uploaded individually, by folder or by dragging and dropping them into the program window.
Diino offers more than simple file hosting. Music files can be streamed directly from the server so you can enjoy music where ever you are.
The amount of space available for files depends on the type of account opened with Diino. There is an account at no cost or you can pay for more space.
In case you are wondering where the files are kept, they are still in an ex-nuclear bunker somewhere in the mountains of Sweden.
An alternative download of a zip file is also available from Diino. The software inside can be used without installation, ideal for use with a USB key.

How to select an online backup company
Most online backup companies seem all too cautious about telling clients exactly what they do. Generally a company web site will give general detail about standard features but they will not detail what they do with the data and what level of responsibility they take ownership of.

No longer a free option
I used the free account and it was good but it has been stopped, now there are only paid-for options.
