PageFour Notebook

PageFour is a word processor designed for writing without the business focus of Microsoft Word. Documents are called Notebooks and have pages added with folders for organisation.

The usual tools for writing, including live spell checking are present and the word count can either count the whole document or a selection. There is a good selection of formatting options including line spacing as well as the essential bold, italic and underline.

Documents are saved automatically every 2 minutes and snapshots preserve different versions for trying out radical ideas with text. Snapshots are kept for 20 days.

Pages can be password protected and exported in text, Rich Text format or Word.#

The Smart-Edit function can be used to find phrases and words that might be over used in the work.

Work can be printed and there are several different templates that can be used so there is no need to reformat the document when printing for different purposes.

This is a shareware program. This download is limited to a maximum of 3 Notebooks each with up to 20 pages. The full version costs $35 and is limited to one user rather than one computer so you can install it on both a laptop and desktop at the same time.
