Find and share wireless networks
Share hotspot locations with Wefi
There are plenty of free wireless networking hotspots around but it can be difficult to find one. WeFi is a small program for sharing the location of hotspots with other people.
The number of hotspots in the UK is a little limited but that is no reason not to get involved and start sharing your discoveries.
The system requirements are nothing out of the ordinary, just a wireless enabled notebook.
Note that this version is now available for both XP and Vista.

There is more to WeFi
WeFi helps you find and easily connect to the best hotspot around you, and as described in this article, derives its power from connectivity information automatically shared among devices using the WeFi software. But there is more - in order to encourage people to invite others to use WeFi (this constantly expanding and improving the service quality and availability to everyone) WeFi let's you invite friends to share the WeFi experience, and when your friends join WeFi you can see their location in real-time whenever they connecte to wireless Internet. You can even see new people connecting in your vicinity (if they choose to share their location) and you can invite and interact with those people and make them your friends as well.
