A tool that enables you to log on to password-protected websites and services with ease
The free version of Roboform enables you to manage passwords for 10 websites
Roboform is a tool that stores the usernames and passwords you need to access websites, forums, online shops, web applications and more.
It uses encryption to keep these details safe, giving the user access by means of a master password.
The free version of Roboform has a number of other interesting tools, such as the ability to submit username and password with a single click, fillout common fields in web forms automatically and have more than one set of login details for sites - something that will come in handy if more than one member of a household has their own account with an online shop, webmail service or other website.
However, the free version enables you to create only 10 passcards - effectively limiting you to 10 websites. That's OK if you use no more than 10 sites that require login details. An upgrade to the unlimited version of Roboform is, at the time of writing, $10 (about £6.50).
Roboform can also generate passwords that are very difficult to guess with a single click when you first join a new website or service. this gives added protection in case the website itself is targeted by criminals.
Used in conjunction with a free addon called GoodSync, Roboform can keep a secure online record of your login details, so that you can safely access and manage usernames and passwords on computers in several locations.
Roboform is one of the best free password managers we have used and well desrving of our Try It award.
Roboform is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000 and 98.

Cumbersome
I found it restrictive and tedious compared to LastPass. I don't know about reliability but I have never had a problem accessing Lastpass. The one time I messed up changing my password the support staff answered my email , asked if I wanted to reset, and corrected my mistake within minutes. No paid for application is that good.
