A better way to open closed tabs in Firefox
Quickly restore closed tabs with Undo Closed Tab
A minor annoyance with tabbed browsing is accidentally closing the wrong tab, or remembering that a closed tab contained some important information. The Undo Closed Tab add-on for Firefox lets you choose which tab to reopen, bringing Firefox much closer to the tool offered by Opera.
Once installed, the icon for Undo Closed Tabs must be added to a toolbar. This is quite simple to do. Right-click on a toolbar and then left-click on Customize. Scroll down the list of available icons to the one for Undo Closed Tab and then drag and drop it into the desired position.
Click on the main icon to reopen the most recently closed tab. The icon really shines when you click on the down arrow to the right of the icon. This displays a list of closed tabs so you can select the one you want. Much better than the old way of having to reopen every closed tab during the search.
The options window lets you set how many tabs it will remember and whether the Undo Closed Tabs tools should appear in the right-click context menu.
