Replace your start menu with this more advanced version
The Start Menu is something used every day but the options for personalising it are rather limited. The Vista Start Menu is an alternative that puts more information on the screen when you click on the Start button.
Installation is simple and the Vista Start Menu replaces the ordinary Start menu. This can be reversed and an icon placed in the Quick Launch toolbar instead.
There are options for customising the Vista Start Menu and the button for accessing these is clearly visible.
The disadvantage with showing more information on the screen is that the Vista Start Menu can appear a little overwhelming when it appears.
Despite the name, this Start Menu replacement tool can be used on 2000, or XP, as well as Vista and Windows 7. It supports the 64-bit versions of Windows as well. There is a Pro version that can be customised with more options than this free one. It can be purchased from the Vista Start Menu website.
Version 3 added feature including the facility to add a dividing line between your apps, within your main menu. The latest version 3.7 fixes some bugs.

A great piece of software
I downloaded this software and was not expecting anything special. But I was suprised as I found the layout and the information it provides really good and a lot better than the start menu that comes with windows.

What a great piece of software!
I just downloaded Vista Start Menu 3.1 and I am really impressed, it does exactly what it says, the developer deserves a pat on the back, I so love the way everything stays in the same place instead of shuffling around when you delete or add stuff. I highly recommend this software,

My Kind Of Menu
I have just downloaded Vista Start Menu 3.1 and I love the layout and ease of use,everything at a glance and you can change settings to suit your own needs. Credit must go to all concerned, a great piece of software.

Potential Threat.
I read the endorsements by other users and would like to try this software. However when downloading Download Accelerator Plus gave me a warning that this could be harmful to my machine. Has any one had this and loaded the software any way ? I am running Vista Ultimate and don't want to have any problems.

Vista Start Menu & Windows 7
Don't be afraid to use this on Windows 7 as well. I have had this program running on all the PCs with XP Vista and Win 7

Better than windows 7 menu
Quicker to use than windows 7 menu,and 4 skins to choose from.
