Learn how to use the Word 2007 ribbon
Learn where commands are in the Word 2007 Ribbon
The new ribbon in Office 2007 is generally very good but it does required relearning where all the commands are. This standalone reference guide from Microsoft helps make the transition to the new version.
Installation is not as easy as we would like because it just shows a window asking for a location to extracted the files. This is a little unhelpful for beginners. There is no shortcut created in the Start menu either, which is a disappointment.
Once started it shows the familiar window of Word 2003. As the mouse moves over icons on the toolbars a small popup window appears with instructions of how to find the command in Word 2007.
Clicking on an icon or menu option makes the ribbon from Word 2007 appear with an animation of how to access the required command.
