Always on Top Maker

Some programs give you the option to keep them at the front of all other programs. The Windows Sidebar in Vista is a good example. Always On Top Maker adds this option to any program that you want to be visible at all times.

It's a tiny download at 6KB but there's no installer. Simply extract the two files from the download, the program itself and the Readme. It's a slight disappointment that there is no installer because it means that there is no easy way to set the program to run at start-up.

You will have to create a shortcut in the Startup folder by hand. Alternatively it would be possible to extract the program into the Startup folder directly.

Once it has started, you need to start the program that you want to stay on top and press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl, Alt and T. Windows will make a beep to confirm the setting.

There is no interface for this software, apart from the shortcut mentioned above, the only other control is Ctrl, Alt and Q to quit the software. There's no need for a complicated interface so this isn't a problem.
