Keep children safe online
Stop inappropriate material getting onto your computer
There is plenty of suspect material on the internet and the people publishing it are not always careful in making sure that children don't stumble upon it accidently.
Naomi filters out all kinds of material inappropriate for children such as pornography (images and text), gambling, terrorism, hate and sects.
It includes heuristic technology to make decisions for itself as to whether material is unsuitable even if the text tries to hide the fact. Text scanning can recognise more than 10 languages.
Naomi does not forget the ICRA labelling system either, a rating system for internet sites.
And as web browsers are not the only means by which inappropriate material can arrive on a computer, Naomi can also block peer to peer (p2p) software.
The Naomi icon can be shown in the Notification Area or it can be hidden to provide discreet protection.
