Stay organised, no matter how many things there are to do
Manage lots of tasks with TimeGT
TimeGT is a helpful personal organiser that can be downloaded for Windows, Mac or Linux. This download is for the Windows version. For the Mac/Linux version go to the TimeGT download page.
Tasks can be nested, which allows sub tasks to be added. This helps keep the interface tidy and you can add as many new sub levels as needed.
Version 1.2.1 added the ability to set specific times for tasks and has better searching. The time feature also works with the premium Hedgehog version (see below).
Tasks can also be tagged. We like tagging because it allows tasks to be marked in more than one way, making the software far more flexible. TimeGT can also be used if you plan on following the Getting Things Done philosophy.
We liked the Horizon slider that is a quick way of selecting how far into the future TimeGT shows tasks. This helps to prevent overload.
This download is for the free version, known as Rabbit. The paid for version called Hedgehog costs €4.95 a month and adds some useful extras. The most attractive is that your tasks are stored on the central server and can be loaded onto other computers.
TimeGT is not unique in offering server based sychronisation. If you do not want to pay, Chandler can be used with the Chandler Hub, and there is no cost for signing up. The interface of TimeGT is much better though.
