Create attractive icons for the desktop and the web
Create professional looking icons with Icon Craft
Creating new icons is a great way to personalise a computer, or to add the finishing touches to a new program.
A simple bitmap (bmp) file will do the job but Icon Craft can create much more impressive icons.
A quick way to give a professional feel to icons is to make the background transparent or semi-transparent background. Solid backgrounds can be given a gradient effect.
An icon file created with Icon Craft can be made up of several icons of different size to make sure the icon looks good in different places such as the Start Menu and Desktop.
Existing images can be imported to make icons. Supported formats include ICO, BMP, Jpeg, ANI, CUR, Gif, PNG, TGA, WMF, WBMP, XPM, XBM and Adobe Photoshop PSD image formats. Icons can also be extracted from Windows executables, libraries and animated cursor files, ZIP and RAR archives.
In addition to icons, Icon Craft can also be used to make cursors.
This is a 30-day trial with some limitations.
