Grab audio from your CDs, process and create customised audio dicsc
It’s so easy to store our music digitally and then stream across various rooms in our house. You don’t need iTunes to do this, either. Simply grab an Apple Airport Express for each room where you want to listen to your streamed audio, a licensed copy of Airfoil and you can use just about any application to play and stream your audio.
However, most of us do turn to Apple iTunes to manage and rip our audio. Problem is that this is a huge beast of an application and, every time Apple decides to release a minor update (8.0.1), you have to go through the long-winded process of downloading the installer and updating your computer. If you have open applications, including Microsoft Outlook, for some reason the iTunes installer wants to shut these before it can install. This is a tool to rip and play audio tracks.
Ashampoo Music Studio 2009 is a lightweight tool which you can use for digital audio management. It’s designed for one thing: for you to get your audio tracks from a CD to your computer, as quickly as possible. If you want to import your tracks without losing too much data, you can import as a WAV file or, if you need to save space, using the Ogg Vorbis format.
Once you have your audio files on your computer, you can burn a customised audio CD, create your own disc label and more.
