Write programs for Windows, Mac and Linux with Kbasic

Kbasic is an open source language for creating programs that will work with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. This download is the program you need for using Kbasic.

Unlike Visual Basic, the equivalent language from Microsoft, programs created with Kbasic can be used on Linux and Macs as well as Windows. However, the way the language is written (known as the syntax) is claimed to be exactly the same, making it easy to switch.

There is an official forum for help and support.

Although the software is open source, the developer asks for a registration fee of €25. The licence key then removes ads from inside the program and adds new features. If a new version is released within a year of registration, the upgrade is free of charge.
