Take extra long screenshots of big documents
Shoot long documents in one go with Ducklink Screen Capture
Ducklink Screen Capture is a powerful screen capture tool that costs nothing to download and use. The most attractive tool is the ability to scroll through long web pages in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari to make one long screenshot.
This is particularly useful when for saving web pages for research or sharing with other people. Using images is more convenient than saving as a .mht file that includes both the text and images and less likely to be tampered with.
Installation is simple, as is the main interface. It offers the four main kinds of capture: a region, an entire window, scrolling or fullscreen.
Advanced options include capturing the cursor and whether to start DuckCapture automatically with Windows. Keyboard shortcuts can be assigned to.
Screenshots can be sent to the clipboard or saved as files with the option of automatic naming. The range of file formats is maybe a little limited at bitmap, JPEG and PNG. It would be good to see TIF as well, but it's a minor criticism.
