Intelligent Shutdown is a free application that offers a variety of features.

Although its name suggests it only automates your PC switching off, you can actually use it to do much more, including creating an automated schedule for closing specific programs, locking your PC or displaying reminders. The interface is a bit cluttered and takes some getting used to, but it’s well worth giving it a go
