Sticky Notes
The humble post-it note is an invaluable office tool and the evolution to Windows was inevitable. Sticky Notes creates virtual post it notes on the Desktop that can be used to contain important text.
The software sets up hotkeys for windows so creating, showing or hiding notes is never more than a keypress away.
The colour of the font and the note can be changed and the notes can be made transparent so as not to obscure whatever the computer is doing underneath.
There are separate versions for Me/98/95 and for Windows XP/2000/NT4. Follow this link for the Windows Me/98/95 version.
