Create diagrams for plans and homework
Make impressive-looking diagrams with Dia
Dia is software for creating diagrams in a similar way to Microsoft Visio. It can be used to create relationship charts, flowcharts and network diagrams.
There are symbols for diagrams in all sorts of areas from simple Logic circuits, to map symbols. These are all laid out in separate but easy-to-select menus.
The interface is very similar to the GIMP image editing software. There is a main window with all of the main menu items and buttons. Each diagram has its own window.
There is also a Linux version available.
The GTK+ software (version 2.8.18 or later) must be installed to run this software. It can be downloaded here, but if you are using the GIMP image editor it will already be installed on your computer.
Full manuals for Dia can be found here in HTML, PDF and CHM formats.
